halloween fun

can you say crazy about halloween? this is the house across the street. he was in his garage carving pumpkins for days! they were quite incredible, but i don't know if adrian liked all the scary faces in the windows.





















so the night before halloween i decided maybe it would be fun to dress landen up for when we hand out candy. so I attempted to make a pumpkin outfit for him. not exactly how i imagined it in my head, but he sorta looks like a pumpkin.

as you can see he wasn't crazy about being dressed up at first
















so i gave him a candy to distract him so i could take some pictures (don't worry, it never came out of the wrapper) he was pretty happy regardless
















but then i couldn't get it away from him!
















so i know people are waiting to see pictures of our new place. well, you're going to have to wait a bit longer. we are still doing renovations, i know they will probably never really end, but we have a few major things happening soon (like my new countertops, i can hardly wait), and finishing up painting, finishing unpacking, etc. so i want to wait till some of that stuff is done, and cleaned up before i take some pictures. we are planning on having an open house soon, so i'll probably take pictures then and post them then. don't worry, it will be before the new year.

well, things have been very busy for us. we have all taken our turn being sick (some more than others), and now we are all just tired! now that halloween is over i have christmas on my mind, trying to figure out how to get everything ready and still be able to enjoy it all. i'm excited for landen to experience his first christmas, and also that my whole family will be travelling out here to spend the holidays with us.
