a trip to the park

so, i haven't found much time to post over the last two weeks because it has been so busy, but i have lots to post. so i did a series of posts again. seems to be the easiest for me to do them all at once. so you can read them at your leisure.

last week on my birthday landen and I went to the park with my friend becky and her two kids julian and lyla. it was a beautiful day to be outside (i actually got my first sunburn). landen went on the swing in the park for the first time while julian pushed him. he enjoyed it so much that he fell asleep! here are a few pics i took while we were there. i would have taken more if i wasn't carrying landen around most of the time, makes it a little hard to get some good shots. but i enjoyed being able to take some pictures. i love photographing children because i love candid shots and kids don't pay attention to the camera and are able to act natural around it. anyways, here are some of my favorites....

my friends becky and kiley planned a night out for my birthday. so on friday night they took me out for dinner and a movie with a few other friends. so christa watched landen for me (adrian was working). thanks so much for the night out, i had a great time and it was a much needed evening out for me!
